Jobs Across The World: Toronto

Toronto’s tech industry is experiencing a prosperous time of growth, more than any city in North America over the past five years.

As the United States has made it more challenging for top skilled workers to obtain work visas, Canada is moving in the opposite direction. An initiative to help Canadian employers hire international tech talent, the Global Skills Strategy, was started in 2017.  Applicants going through the program have increased by five times in the past three years, with over 23,000 employees approved in the top five tech sectors.

Countries, like Canada, have benefitted from the clampdown on US immigration, and Karray hopes the trend continues.
